I concluded thirty-five years of academic life as Associate Professor of Philosophy Emeritus at Georgia State University in Atlanta, where I taught courses in the history of philosophy, metaphysics, consciousness studies, Eastern thought, parapsychology, and the New Paradigm literature on levels ranging from freshman to doctoral.  During this time, I authored twenty-eight articles in both mainstream and alternative journals and received two post-doctoral fellowships for advanced study at Brown University and UC-Berkeley. I've authored a widely used text,  A Preface to Philosophy (8th edition), adopted by universities in all fifty states and abroad. I was also a consulting editor for the Journal of Near-Death Studies.  My larger work, Paradigm Wars, offers both critical and visionary analyses of a wide spectrum of current transformational challenges.  In it, as well as in independent journal articles, I've developed a theory of the mind-body relation and of the integration of science and spirituality.

      In addition to my life as an academic philosopher, I've participated in scientific, spiritual, and healing communities, and presented at thirty national conferences, including the Whole Life Expo, Scientific and Medical Network, International Society for the Study of Subtle Energies and Energy Medicine, New Science, Toward a Science of Consciousness, and International Futures Forum, as well as the American Philosophical Association.

     I have assisted others in understanding and integrating their personal growth challenges and dimensional awakenings (healing, meditation, clairvoyance, etc.) as the veil of consciousness becomes progressively thinner.  I've also served as an informal consultant, speaker, support system, and referral source on a wide range of ideas and experiences relating to New Paradigm dialogues (e.g., alternative medicine, environmentalism, spiritual pathwork, and emerging worldviews) and to the current shift in planetary consciousness.  Included in these dialogues is a substantial interest both in Conspiracy Theory as a credible intellectual genre and in a range of particular conspiracies.  

      I work collaboratively with angels and etheric surgeons clearing, healing, and integrating energies on whatever level is required -- both locally and at a distance.  My hands, heart chakra, and toning are tools of healing.

     I have two Children, Alejandra and Erik, and enjoy all forms of water sports.
